IESH v0.1 — From Breadboard to Box
HICS bench, Lalitpur, Nepal
The IESH v0.1 prototype, built on the HICS bench in Lalitpur between 20 May and 15 June 2026. This is the honest version of the build: breadboard to soldered perfboard to a hand-cut cardboard box — a working, offline-first environmental station that reads air, soil and gas, logs locally, and serves its own dashboard and learning portal over WiFi.
It went live on the dashboard for the AIT Jury Day demo on 11 June, and was boxed into its first enclosure four days later. The cardboard box is deliberate: the hand-marked sensor zones — head, soil/agri, base bay — are the brief for the next step, a custom carrier-HAT and power-management PCB in a 3D-printed enclosure. See the IESH instrument page for what it measures today and what comes next.
