Learning Resources

HICS's learning resources are freely available — for teachers, students, and anyone who wants to understand the science behind the instruments and data. Download them, use them, adapt them.

These modules run on every IESH station's offline learning portal — the full material is mirrored here in the open. Source: hics-iesh (v0.1.0).

Python tutorials using real HICS data, as downloadable Jupyter notebooks.

Notebooks are in preparation — built on real HICS data. They will appear here when they exist, not before.

These five modules ship on every IESH station and run with no internet — the station broadcasts its own WiFi and serves the activities itself, with visualisations driven by its live sensors. Many activities need no equipment at all; some use everyday materials; the richest ones use the station. Downloadable PDF versions are being prepared from the same source. Everything here is open — use it, adapt it, translate it.
