The atmosphere is the thin envelope of air that makes life possible on Earth. This module uses live temperature, humidity and barometric pressure readings to explore how the atmosphere works, how Nepal's remarkable geography shapes its climate, and how long-term changes in these measurements connect to the global climate crisis.

For the teacher

This module works best when students have access to the live dashboard during the activity. Encourage students to record readings at the start and end of each session and to notice changes. For grade 6–9 activities, focus on observation and description before explanation. For grade 11–UG activities, push students toward quantitative analysis and to question the limits of a single measurement station. The Nepal context sections are central — avoid treating climate as an abstract global topic when it has immediate, visible consequences in every Nepali valley and hillside.
